Group Fitness Studio


City Fit offers a HUGE variety of live instuctor-led and virtual in-studio group exercise classes to suit all fitness levels and ages.  We run classes every day of the week, so there's no reason to miss out!    

Group exercise classes are a great way to get the workout you need in a safe and motivational environment.

You move to inspiring music, in a darkened non-intimidating studio with awesome lighting and sound system.  Our live classes are led by passionate and professionally accredited instructors, utilising group fitness programs that are fun and effective and will provide an exhilarating workout for you.

A group exercise class offers a complete well rounded exercise routine and a potentially tougher workout that training on your own.  Working out in a group class can lead to better results in your fitness campaign.

Each class is fully optioned to cater for a variety of fitness levels, from the beginner to the most advanced trainer

Les Mills classes

Our group fitness timetable includes world renowned Les Mills group fitness classes.  These are the same exercise experiences as those offered in 1000 clubs around Australia and 13,000 clubs globally!  Each class includes options for different fitness and ability levels, so there's something for every body!  Les Mills classes offered at City Fit are:

  • BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 55-or 45 minute workout challenges your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weights inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast! Also available as an in-studio virtual option.

  • TONE™ is a one of a kind cardio, strength and core workout that bring new concepts and fitness innovations that can really shape and TONE your body. Whether you are an just starting out or an athlete looking for some diversity in your training….Les Mills TONE is your one-stop cross training solution.

  • BODY BALANCE™ - a yoga, tai chi and pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling calm and centred.  Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music creates a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Also available in an in-studio virtual option.

  • BODY COMBAT - is the empowering cardio workout where you can unleash your inner warrior.  This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.  Supported by driving music, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. Also available in an in-studio virtual option.
  • BODY ATTACK - is a simple, high-intensity class that's fully optioned to cater for all fitness levels.  You will experience high-energy sports training moves for cardiovascular fitness, along with upper and lower body conditioning exercises to target the whole body!

In addition to our Les Mills classes, City Fit offers a diverse range of freestyle classes:

  • Clubbercise - A fusion of dance, toning and combat moves with high/low impact options for all fitness levels. Inclusive, fun and an opportunity to just completely love movement! Add to it, glow sticks, blue light and a darkened amazing studio and you bring an night out to your workout :-)

  • Pound UNPLUGGED - Blending 20 minutes of high-intensity training with 10 minutes of rhythmic breathing, mindfulness and meditation, UNPLUGGED will make you sweat, release and boost neurochemicals before quickly settling back into a peaceful, recharged and empowered state.  All within 30 minutes!
  • PILATES - Pilates is a rewarding and invigorating exercise program that can increase overall fitness, build core strength and improve performance.  Pilates shows ou how to improve your physical stability, strenght and flexibility whilst keeping your body and mind aligned. 
  • DANCE - is a freestyle dance class with simple combos and loads of hip shaking fun. No dance experience needed, just your cheeky, sassy attitude!

  • POUND - Instead of listening to the BECOME the music in this exhilerating full body workout, which combines cardio, conditioning and strength training with yoga and pilates inspired movements....all while using RIPSTIX (your lightly weighted drumsticks) Give youself permission to ROCK!!!
  • MEDITATION - An uplifting meditation class with Denise, to help you find inner peace and cultivate positive energy. Meditation has numerous benefits for both the mind and body, such as reducing stress, improving focus and clarity, and promoting overall well-being. It's your chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life and let you to reconnect, nurture and refocus on yourself.
  • POP UP BURN - is a transformative dumbbell & resistance band workout that combines dumbbells and resistance "booty bands" with high repetition movements and a carefully curated playlist to inspire the mind, body & soul.

Virtual only classes

In addition to our live classes, City Fit offers a diverse range of in-studio cinema screen virtual classes:

  • LES MILLS DANCE - will reinvent the way you move and sweat! 45-minutes, 10 stand-alone tracks, inspired by global dance genres and designed by dancers. Each class has innovative dance movements that work cohesively with music inspired from a wide variety of dance genres.This moderate to high-intensity workout combines some serious cardio efforts with strength and conditioning work, all whilst maintaining the fun and energy of dance.
  • Les Mills CORE (30 or 45 mins) - is an intense core workout, designed to build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core. The workout includes exercises that utilise a resistance band and weight plate/s, which are available in the studio.
