City Fit offers a variety of group exercise classes to suit all fitness levels and ages.  We run classes every day of the week, so there's no reason to miss out!  Click the downloads link to get a copy of our current Group Fitness Timetable.

Group exercise classes are a great way to get the workout you need in a safe and motivational environment.

You move to inspiring music, led by passionate and professionally accredited instructors, utilising group fitness programs that are fun and effective and will provide an exhilarating workout for you.

A group exercise class offers a complete well rounded exercise routine and a potentially tougher workout that training on your own.  Working out in a group class can lead to better results in your fitness campaign.

Group exercise classes provide a social atmosphere where you will enjoy the camraderie in this non-intimidating envionment.

Each class offers options to cater for a variety of fitness levels, from the beginner to the most advanced trainer

In compliance with Health Dept requirements, you agree to wipe down equipment before and after use, maintain physical distancing, use a full sized towel and not attend the club if unwell.

Les Mills classes

Our group fitness timetable includes world renowned Les Mills group fitness classes.  These are the same exercise experiences as those offered in 1000 clubs around Australia and 13,000 clubs globally!  Each class includes options for different fitness and ability levels, so there's something for every body!  Les Mills classes offered at City Fit are:

  • BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 55-or 45 minute workout challenges your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weights inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast!

  • TONE™ is a one of a kind cardio, strength and core workout that bring new concepts and fitness innovations that can really shape and TONE your body. Whether you are an just starting out or an athlete looking for some diversity in your training….Les Mills TONE is your one-stop cross training solution.

  • BODY BALANCE™ - a yoga, tai chi and pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling calm and centred.  Controlled breathing,            concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music creates a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Additional classes

In addition to our Les Mills classes, City Fit offers a diverse range of freestyle classes:

  • Clubbercise - A fusion of dance, toning and combat moves with high/low impact options for all fitness levels. Inclusive, fun and an opportunity to just completely love movement! Add to it, glow sticks, blue light and a darkened amazing studio and you bring an night out to your workout :-)

  • A.B.T. (abs, butts, thighs) - A freestyle class set to banging retro tunes with a targeted focus on the abs, booty and thighs. This class can help increase core strength, improve posture and glute strength and leave you feeling ready to take on the rest of your day!
  • DANCE - is a freestyle dance class with simple combos and loads of hip shaking fun. No dance experience needed, just your cheeky, sassy attitude!
  • SH1FT/L1FT COMBO - This combo mixes body weight and plate weight training to get you fit and build beautiful lean and strong muscle. Best of all it's progressive and leaves no fitness level behind. SH1FT & L1FT workouts are time based and not rep based, you work at YOUR level. But watch out!! This workout will sneak up on you
